Hello dearies and froomies!

Spring is soon to be upon us and I am slowly emerging from my metaphorical cocoon! I often think of the first day of spring as the new year, and so I try to think 0f what things I want to bring into my life and things I want to see happening around me.

Something that I have been enthralled in is my rediscovery of reading romance. While fantasy and romantasy will forever have my heart, it was reading Before I let go by Kennedy Ryan that really reignited the flame. While her works have always been on my perspective reading lists, it was shopping at a half price books where that book found me when I wasn't looking. I took it as a sign and I am forever grateful that I allowed myself the space to fall in love with the genre all over again.

It also got me thinking.

So, I was fortunate to attend a Conversation with Tracy Deonn when she came to Chicago right after the release of Oathbound, and she said something that spoke to me. That she doesn't really believe in writer's block, it's just that she views it as one of the characters is acting inauthentically. That spoke to me, as a writer and I've pondered this fact a lot within my blockage as well as my rediscovery of loving romance.

And within this love for romance, I am so thankful that I am a part of a flash fiction romance anthology. This'll be my first published work. I am still pinching myself! I just think about how grateful I am to be a part of all of these experiences that also strengthen my love for writing, reading, and shape me as a person!

Thank you for joining me on this crazy journey and my rambles and I cannot wait for the new experiences I get to share with you, my dearies!
